United we will create a one-of-a-kind model of a sustainable campus and Sustainability and Innovation Center that allows people and communities to be part of a life-changing opportunity in an internationally diverse learning environment.

Use of timber (wood) as our primary construction element.

Embodied carbon is lower in timber (wood) compared to concrete and steel buildings.

Water efficiency and use of solar energy.

Collection, treatment, and storage of rainwater or greywater that can be reused. Convert sunlight into electricity by PV cells and use a solar water heater collector.

First construction in Costa Rica with LEED & RESET certifications.

LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement. And RESET is a standard to expand sustainability requirements to buildings constructed in the tropics.
