By creating open spaces to educate and promote inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable communities for all people with social and economic diversity
UWC Costa Rica’s educational model has established opportunities for students to invest more than 50,000 hours per year in projects supporting the needs of minority groups, and reconnecting and learning with nature.
All spaces will be intentionally designed to respect the diversity of life and its ecosystem and minimize the impact of what we build.
Our new campus will promote and sustain collective actions by developing within the campus open areas in which people from the community can express and exercise their collective rights, such as promotion of culture, recreational activities, economic development, and social interactions–Learning from each other.
